Zara advertised sale merchandise on their web site. When I went to the Michigan Ave. Chicago store to shop...the sales associates informed me that they are not allowed to sell the sale merchandise that was advertised., however I would be able to buy these very items on Sept. 07, 2011. I did some research and found out that this was against the united states retail law to publish false advertisements. I was also able to find out that some of Zara stores were selling the advertised merchandise, with Santa Monica, California store being one of them. I called the Santa Monica store, and the sales associate informed me that she could ship the items to my address that I want. Therefore, I made an on-ling folder for the items, and called the store as I was ready to place the order. This time I spoke with another associate who refused to honor my sales order. In this situation, the customer has been misinformed three times.... First Zara's false advertising, secondly the assurance from Michigan Ave. store that I will be able to buy the advertised merchandise on-line starting Sept. 07, 2011. Thirdly, the Santa Monica store assuring me that they will mail me the merchandise, but when I called with my order list, refusing to honor my request... Zara International is in violation of retail law of the United States. I would expect that the company puts their act together before there are law suits against them... Thanks, Samina
